Position Summary

A technician sought for diagnostic molecular biology and immunology for companion animals (canine and feline) in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

The personal qualities we are seeking are primarily meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate well with clients. One result of being employed in this position will be to gain substantial experience with PCR and flow cytometry assays.

Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with some laboratory experience. OR the equivalent of four years of full-time relevant work related experience in a laboratory.

Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Science background. Veterinary experience is preferred but not required. Some experience with cellular and molecular assays is desirable.
