Curriculum Fellow position in Cancer Biology

The Harvard Medical School Curriculum Fellows Program (CFP) is seeking a post-doctoral Curriculum Fellow (CF) who will provide curricular and administrative support for the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium. The Landry Cancer Biology Consortium is a graduate program in cancer biology that leverages the diverse expertise of the entire Harvard Community to bring students into the cancer research network, foster collaborative problem solving and support the development of their careers as the next leaders in cancer research.

The Cancer Biology CF will work independently and in collaboration with diverse Harvard-affiliated faculty to:

- Manage the vibrant training program in Cancer Biology that spans the Harvard Medical School, Harvard University, and at the Harvard-affiliated teaching hospitals
- Develop, implement and support paracurricular activities, including symposia, recruitment events, and other opportunities for the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium
- Develop a multidisciplinary curriculum for Landry Canceer Biology Consortium; potentially including quarter courses, nanocourses and a ‘bootcamp’ style hands-on laboratory training course
- Provide administrative support for the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium and the associated training program, including the preparation of annual reports for university stakeholders

The Landry Cancer Biology Curriculum Fellow is a member of the HMS Curriculum Fellows Program, a science education community that functions as a training program for early career scientist teachers while also contributing to the development and oversight of high quality, innovative graduate education at Harvard. Pedagogical training is incorporated into the fellow’s course- and program-based efforts and includes opportunities to design and conduct educational research projects. CFs receive mentorship and career advising to support their development as educators throughout the duration of the appointment.

Basic Qualifications

Qualifications:
- An earned doctorate in cancer biology, or closely related area of biomedical sciences
- Post-secondary teaching experience
- Postdoctoral research or teaching experience (preferred)
