The Department of Strategic Management and Marketing, a key component of Leicester Business School, comprises four subject groups (Business and Management, Economics, Enterprise and Marketing). Our rapidly growing academic community delivers an outstanding learning experience to students and has an active research community, evidenced by the Department’s recently launched Centre for Enterprise and Innovation (with research interests in ethnic/migrant entrepreneurship, innovation, the resilient enterprise, and the consumer, enterprise and society).
The Marketing subject group currently consists of 16 full time members of staff and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Excellent teaching is at the heart of our commitment to professional, creative education and the team pride themselves on their innovative approach to programme development, teaching methods and assessments. As part of our expansion programme, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Marketing. You must have an excellent track record in both UG and PG teaching and module leadership, ideally in one or more of the following: Consumer behaviour, branding, digital marketing, strategic marketing, consumer analytics, marketing communications, research methods and international marketing. You should be innovative in your approach to teaching and also be able to demonstrate initiatives in new module development and engagement with external stakeholders. Aspirations about developing a portfolio of research activities in one or more of the following areas: Consumer behaviour, branding, services marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, and corporate social responsibility, would also be an advantage.
