A culturally rich university with a strong commitment to the public good, it strives to maintain a stimulating, innovative and inclusive environment where staff and students are able to thrive.
The Department of Strategic Management and Marketing, a key component of Leicester Business School, comprises four subject groups (Business and Management, Economics, Enterprise and Marketing). Our rapidly growing academic community delivers an outstanding learning experience to students and has an active research community, evidenced by the Department’s recently launched Centre for Enterprise and Innovation (with research interests in ethnic/migrant entrepreneurship, innovation, the resilient enterprise, and the consumer, enterprise and society). The Marketing subject group currently consists of 16 full time members of staff and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Excellent teaching is at the heart of our commitment to professional, creative education and the team pride themselves on their innovative approach to programme development, teaching methods and assessments.
As part of our expansion programme, we are seeking to appoint a VC2020 Lecturer in Marketing. Ideally your research portfolio should revolve around one or more of the following areas: Marketing communications, branding, research methods, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, social media marketing and corporate social responsibility. We offer you a collegiate environment for the development of your research and teaching and your position will be uniquely endowed with a research allowance of 50% of your time/workload.
