Lecturer or Senior Lecturer: Genetic Epidemiology or Biostatistics
About the job
This position will work as part of a large influential research community within the Centre for Population Health Research to undertake and contribute to cutting edge research in the area of genetic epidemiology and biostatistics. This newly created position will have a large focus on research contributing to successful national grants and high quality research publications, along with the teaching and supervising of both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Health Sciences.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have a PhD in statistics or relevant discipline along with demonstrated experience in epidemiological data analysis including genetic data. You will have a strong research background with demonstrated experience in writing for publications along with strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully deliver conference presentations. You will also have prior experience and a commitment to high quality teaching in a higher education environment.
