The School of Physics is a research intensive and innovative School which greatly values research and teaching.  The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) is an integral part of the School of Physics and is a recognised research strength of the University of Wollongong.

This role will work on the development of the BrachyView in-vivo and real-time Quality Assurance for low and high dose rate brachytherapy but also on pixelated high spatial and temporary resolution external beam RT dosimeters.

This role will benefit from Academic Staff that have a research background in Semiconductor detectors, advanced dosimetry hardware, electronic analogue and digital readout, TCAD device simulations and Monte Carlo radiation transport simulations. As well as experimental research with semiconductor detectors and related electronics hardware is an essential part of this project.
