Professional Employment Register
The CasPER system is an online register of interest for casual work.
As an applicant, you can register your interest through this vacancy by submitting your resume, cover letter (optional) and completing the skills questionnaire (attached to application submission).
This register of interest will remain in our system for the calendar year. Should you wish your application remain current after this, you will need to reapply.
The administrative team of each area within the university will have access to view this register and the details of each applicant and, if appropriate casual work should become available, they will make contact for engagement.
Please note, an application made to this register does not constitute as an application for a specific position and/or role. It is simply an expression of interest for potential casual engagement.
How to register your interest:
1. Through the Casual Professional Employment Register (CasPER) vacancy, once you’ve downloaded the documents and understood the terms, you can make application through the “Apply Now” link
2. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be taken to another page and be prompted to supply your personal details, as well as your resume and other supporting documents. On this same page, you will be prompted to complete a skills/experience matrix which will be attached to your application for viewing.
This skills/experience matrix will assist in the selection of appropriate applicants for available casual work.
3. Once you’ve completed this page and uploaded your documents, you can submit this application from there.
As mentioned previously, your application will remain in our system for the calendar year. If appropriate casual work should become available whilst your application is active, you will be contacted.
