Your role - Professor of Human Resources Management

Our department of Human Resource Management is a CIPD Centre, with a close relationship with the HR profession and strong links with bodies like the British Psychological Society and the British Universities Industrial Relations Association. Our academic and research interests span the range of international and human resources management and HR professional practice. You will focus on enhancing our research capacity and ensuring the HR world values our research for its real world applications. We will also look to you to inspire and mentor research-active colleagues, while attracting new sources of research income.

Your profile

You will need to bring a PhD, a successful academic background and, ideally, relevant industry experience.   You will certainly be a recognised expert in the field, with a record of publishing internationally-leading research and generating significant income. An inspiring educator and mentor, you will also have experience of delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
