The Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer/Coordinator who will be expected to support the teaching efforts of the University, and to inspire students throughout their learning experience.

You will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of curriculum design, review and implementation, and delivery of online course material for the Monash/Pearson Alliance Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced. The Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced is an APAC accredited 4th year equivalent program, giving students the qualification necessary to undertake specialised professional postgraduate training in psychology.

Duties of this role will include assisting academic and professional staff with the development of course materials, the preparation of this material on the program's learning management system (Moodle), the compilation and checking of marks, and ensuring procedures meet requirements of University and faculty policies.

You will have a minimum Masters level qualification in Psychology, experience serving in the role of assistant coordinator in an undergraduate psychology program, and experience in the development of teaching materials. If you have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work positively and cooperatively with students, internal and external teams and agencies and a demonstrated ability to stimulate, actively engage and educate a given audience, we look forward to receiving your application.
