Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Reader in Electronic Engineering (Permanent, full time)

Salary range:

Lecturer: starting at £39,324 and rising to £46,924 per annum

Senior Lecturer/Reader: starting at £48,327 and rising to £55,998 per annum

Applicants at either Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader level will be considered. The successful candidate will be appointed at the level appropriate to their skills, abilities and qualifications.

The Department of Engineering and Design wishes to appoint a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader in Electronic Engineering. This is one of seven positions being advertised that are linked to further major investments, supported by a recent £10m grant for a new centre encompassing computing, robotics, electronics and mechatronics.

The successful applicant will have research interests that align to one of the Department’s buoyant and far-reaching research groups and who would strengthen our internationally leading research activity.
 
The successful applicant will be expected to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas such as electrical circuits and devices, electronic devices, circuit prototyping, embedded systems, sensors, and programming, typically in C.
