£17399 to £20624 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post within the University’s Campaign and Alumni Relations Office (CARO) based at its University Park Campus. This key role in CARO provides administrative support to the Alumni Relations operation, acting as a first point of contact for all enquiries and enabling the effective delivery of the events and services provided by the office. This exciting role is pivotal in the delivery of all Alumni Relations activity.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, and will act as the primary contact for all alumni enquiries and correspondence to the office via email, telephone and in person, responding in a timely manner and directing enquiries to colleagues where appropriate.
The role-holder will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise workloads. The job involves working in a busy office with peaks of activity throughout the year so the role holder should be able to maintain calm under pressure. This role also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate may have prior experience of working in alumni relations or proven transferable skills. An interest in alumni relations, and fundraising is essential as well as an enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn.
