The Role

Reporting to the Manager Academic Services, the Customer Service Coordinator provides leadership, support and guidance to the customer service function of the campus-based Academic Services Centre in the College of Science Engineering and Health, ensuring a high level of service is delivered.

Your Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for coordinating the rotation of Academic Services Staff in giving face-to-face advice to students, coordinating telephone and online enquiry resolution via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, monitoring team performance against agreed benchmarks and ensure staff are competent, confident in delivering the desired outcomes and are continuingly developed.

The Customer Service Coordinator will build effective beneficial working relationships and regularly communicate with a range of internal and external contacts including colleagues in Schools, Academic Registrars Group, Students Group and RMIT Connect.

Skills & Experience Required

Your demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer service to a diverse client base in a professional manner and excellent oral communication and interpersonal rapport skills with the ability to listen, interpret and convey information and provide advice in a clear, accurate and appropriate manner. In addition demonstrated ability to deal sensitively with issues where necessary while maintaining confidentiality will be essential to your success in this role.
