About You

With a keen interest in technology, you will understand the challenges and responses in Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise activity. We are looking for someone with a highly proactive and entrepreneurial approach to generate and realise opportunities, drive student engagement and secure industry partners for a variety of collaborations. You will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and be able to identify opportunities, and imbue high levels of professional integrity with stakeholders.

You will be solution focussed and results driven, with a real desire to deliver quality to all customers, advancing their knowledge and capability.

About the Role

Knowledge exchange and enterprise activity are the key components which interlink to support the delivery of the employability and research strategies of the Department of Computer Science and University widely. Knowledge exchange and enterprise in the Department has both an industry and a student face, facilitating projects and initiatives which create collaborations between industry, students and academics.

This work contributes widely to the employability agenda, through a diversified portfolio of extra-curricular activities in which students from across our degree programmes can engage; the Universitys enterprise strategy, through the identification of new industry partners and the continual assessment of enterprise and innovation within the Computer Science Department; and the Universitys research strategy, through knowledge exchange and collaborative research.
