The role and your responsibilities

The position of Manager, Student Learning Support is responsible for driving the implementation of learning support programs to transform the experience of students in the College of Business. This position works closely with College of Business learning and teaching team, academic and teaching staff and central services to provide forward-thinking and integrated transition, mentoring, academic support and retention initiatives. You will also be responsible for the ongoing management of the award winning Student Learning Advisor Mentor (SLAMs) program in the College of Business.

Skills and experience required

You will demonstrate the ability to lead and manage learning support initiatives and programs, including staff and mentors. Your demonstrated excellence in the application of a range of evidence-based and contextualised approaches to student learning support will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your highly-developed knowledge and skills in leading practice approaches to learning support, transition, mentoring and academic skills development.

Your highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to on-board stakeholders, and influence and negotiate outputs and outcomes will be essential.
