About the role
The Senior Research Publications and Data Librarian provides leadership in the management of the Library's research publications and data services, aligned with the strategic direction of the University to ensure the changing demands, needs and expectations of the University research community are met. The Library platforms for recording the research outputs of the University are Innovative Vital for publications and ReDBox Lite for data. The position assists the University in meeting reporting requirements under government legislation and policies of research funding bodies.

Skills & Experience
We are seeking an innovative, flexible and forward- thinking individual to lead a new team and to guide and promote individual, professional and organisational developments to achieve library strategic goals. The successful candidate should have extensive relevant professional experience in the provision of publications and data management services for research, and a sound understanding of the research reporting and funding environment of higher education institutions. This role also requires demonstrated ability to lead and manage change, excellent communication skills and experience in leading and developing staff. Applicants must have a degree or postgraduate qualification, in library and information services/management and be eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
