The Student Experience Office leads the development of an integrated student lifecycle management strategy. Playing a leading role in developing a positive student experience, The Office of the Chief Student Experience Officer integrates the functions of Student Administration, Student Support Services, Careers, Campus Safety and Security, Widening Participation and Schools Engagement to deliver an environment where our students can achieve and fulfil their aspirations.
The Student Experience Office is seeking a suitable candidate to fill a fixed term role as a Student Central Officer at its new Parramatta City Campus. The Student Central Officer is a frontline contact for Student Central. This role is responsible for the provision of efficient customer service for Western Sydney University and College students. The role will work to complement the traditional front counter and face-to-face service incorporating various media and system solutions. They will be expected to provide support and assistance to students in the use of online systems and processes to enhance their capacity to self-manage and self-inform.
The Student Central Officer will work to a formal roster with staff working all of their ordinary hours according to rostered shifts to cover the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Where mutually agreed, staff members will also have the option of working outside this bandwidth of hours to cover the required 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday support coverage period. The transition to a roster based workforce is critical in providing “student centred” support.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $64,664 to $73,238
