The role and your responsibilities

The Project Officer works under the direction of the Project Coordinator, Academic Services, and with key stakeholders to contribute to the implementation of projects in the Academic Services Unit (ASU) to drive strategic initiatives of the College.

You will primarily be responsible for the provision of high level, responsive support for a range of project elements across the ASU and will play a key role in support of the cultural and service changes required to support the College's strategic directions and ensuring compliance with University policy.

Skills and experience required

The ideal candidate will bring to the role your relevant experience in supporting the management and coordination of projects preferably in a tertiary environment. Your excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings and compose correspondence, minutes and action-oriented reports will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your proven ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. Your demonstrated high-level expertise in Excel and your commitment to quality and continuous improvement is essential.
