Senior Teacher in Education

About the position
Bond College (BC) is fully integrated with the University’s educational structure and lifestyle and provides pathways to undergraduate study. It also incorporates the Bond University English Language Institute (BUELI).
The key focus of the Senior Teacher role is to coordinate the delivery of the BC General English Program and to provide leadership and support to a team of teachers. This position will require the Senior Teacher to work as part of a team providing a professional and effective teaching service, and to communicate effectively with the BC administration team and well as other areas of the University.
About the person:
The successful applicant will have relevant teaching experience along with undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field i.e. Masters in TEFL/TESOL. They will have also have demonstrated educational management experience from within an ELICOS centre in Australia and a wide-ranging knowledge of the sector’s challenges.
High level communication skills and the ability with work with individuals from multi-cultural backgrounds are essential, as is a valid Blue Card. A degree or diploma in Education will be highly regarded.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $61,290.06 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation
