About the role
Working within the La Trobe Rural Health School, which is the largest rural health school in Australia, this role will be based in Bendigo and will contribute to the disciplines of Nursing and Midwifery. There is a strong element of developing curriculum and using contemporary teaching practices to delivery the Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery course. You will also undertake research or other scholarly work relevant to the development of the disciplines or professional field.
Skills and Experience
- Must be a registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA.
- A commitment to high quality teaching using contemporary practices to deliver nursing and midwifery curriculum.
- Hold a PhD or have made significant progress towards a PhD in Nursing or Midwifery is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- A record of research publications, with evidence of quality and impact, relative to a Level B academic.
- Graduate Certificate in Higher Education is desirable.
