About the role

Develop curriculum, teach and other scholarly work relevant to the Department of Communication and Media. You will develop, coordinate and teach in a way that engages students through tutorials, classes, demonstrations, and studio sessions. Participate in innovative course level design, development and review while keeping up to date with new teaching innovations. Publish or disseminate high quality and high impact research as a member of a team or independently. Supervise or co-supervise Higher Degree by Research students. You will also obtain research funding from external funding sources.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will possess a postgraduate degree, preferably a PhD, in a relevant discipline or the equivalent experience with a focus on broadcasting. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills are essential. You must have the ability to work collaboratively and productively with a diverse range of staff and students. Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development is desirable as is evidence of high quality and high impact research, relative to opportunity.
