An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the newly restructured Procurement Team at UWS.  We are looking for a dynamic individual who can inspire our people.  With a can do and resilient attitude coupled with a focus on being solutions driven you will provide a first class value add procurement service to the University and its stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in public sector procurement, with significant experience of successfully leading and evaluating tender processes.  You will have an understanding of the major Procurement issues and practical experience of the provision of policy advice based on this understanding.  Excellent technical expertise in fields of procurement, with a clear focus on results and considerable experience in the development and implementation of e-procurement are also essential.

You will be educated to degree level and be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, or working towards this (or be able to demonstrate equivalent and relevant work experience).

The successful candidate will be based at our Paisley Campus with some scheduled activities at other campuses as required.
