The University College Dublin Veterinary Hospital (UCDVH) is seeking to recruit 2 small animal clinicians, to contribute to the PEH clinical service, as well as to the ICU/Emergency service, along with other small animal services, in UCDVH.
These positions will be suitable for small animal clinicians wishing to apply for residency training programmes, while gaining experience of an academic veterinary medical institution and consolidating their skills in emergency care, medicine and surgery. Successful candidates will also supervise final year UCD veterinary students in gaining their clinical experience.
Opportunities to develop skills and experience in teaching, learning and assessment will also be provided, as well as a comprehensive CPD programme in emergency medicine and related areas.
Duties will rotate between UCDVH and the out of hours PEH service.
Opportunities to progress into a UCD Residency training programme may be available.
Applicants must have with a degree in veterinary medicine which can be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.

Salary: €24,923 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
