About the role
Working within the La Trobe Rural Health School, which is the largest rural health school in Australia, this role will be based in Shepparton and will contribute to the discipline at the national level. You will develop curriculum, teach and undertake research or other scholarly work relevant to the development of the discipline or professional field.
Skills and Experience
- A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong record of research publications, with evidence of quality and impact, relative to opportunity.
- Experience in the preparation of research proposals submitted to external funding bodies relative to opportunity.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching as well as the ability to mentor and supervise students.
- Experience in coordination and implementation of new intiatives particularly in rural communities.
