Swinburne University of Technology seeks to appoint an outstanding dietetics academic as Professor/Associate Professor of Dietetics and Course Director in the Faculty of Health, Arts and Design based in Melbourne, Australia.

The Professor/Associate Professor of Dietetics and Course Director (PDCD) will provide outstanding academic, research and professional leadership in the new Dietetics discipline in the Department of Health and Medical Sciences. As part of the university’s ambitious new Health Sciences strategy, the PDCD will lead the implementation of the new Master of Dietetics course/s and establish the curriculum using a combination of online, blended and on-campus modes of delivery. The PDCD will be responsible for establishing industry partnerships and placements, and recruit and supervise new teaching and research staff into the course. The incumbent will also lead a research strand, convene and teach academic units and supervise research students.

Possessing an outstanding national and international reputation as a leader in teaching and research in Dietetics, the successful candidate will demonstrate an outstanding track record in leadership, innovative digital experience and capability in e-health, whilst understanding sector challenges, possess strong industry connections and develop internationally-renowned research capacity and impact.
