Salary: £17210 to £20400 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University Counselling Service is seeking to recruit a Receptionist/Administration Officer to work in a busy, client -focussed environment who is able to respond sensitively and appropriately to people contacting the service who may be in distress. Previous administrative experience and an ability to communicate confidently at all levels is essential.   The successful candidate will be expected to work efficiently, sometimes simultaneously, with a broad range of administrative and receptionist tasks in a team environment.  Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and have an ability to handle confidential material and maintain confidentiality effectively.

Candidates should have evidence of excellent IT skills which includes (Microsoft Office suite); a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Mathematics and English) or equivalent.

Hours of work are 25 each week Monday to Friday. 3p.m.
