The College of Science, Health & Engineering offers a large range of entry-level professional programs as well as undergraduate health sciences programs and specialty post-graduate programs. Health Sciences is unique in that it offers a Core First Year (CFY) undergraduate teaching program which is delivered at the Melbourne, Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga, Mildura and Shepparton Campuses and forms the foundation year for 22 Health Sciences courses.

About the role

The College is looking to appoint experienced and dynamic teaching staff to teach a set of curriculum in the CFY program across the academic year. You will provide academic support to first year students in their transition to University and deliver the CFY curriculum.

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to the CFY teaching areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching in human physiology and anatomy, interprofessional practice, psychology, evidence-based research practice, sociology or Allied Health disciplines.
  • Demonstrated understanding of effective teaching methods and pedagogies.
  • High level oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as a team member.
