Lead Central Scheduler, BUMC Educational Media Center

Lead Central Scheduler serves as the primary technical contact and subject matter expert regarding scheduling software. Position is responsible for scheduling room assignments and resources for BUMC academic, administrative and research needs related to centrally scheduled rooms, common areas and proprietary space as required. This position ensures that scheduling requests are processed efficiently, and that conflicts are communicated and resolved and the resulting confirmations are in place. Works with faculty, course administrators and the department director in identifying scheduling options for new and changing curriculum space needs. Functions as the campus key liaison for the scheduling software solution. Works independently under the direction of the Director in accordance with campus and university policies and interacts with faculty, staff, students, contractors and the outside community. Provides input in developing new guidelines and policies for the use of medical campus space. Prepares utilization and space operation reports.
3-5 years of experience and an Associate's Degree required. bachelor's Degree preferred.
