Education Support Officer - Languages
Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $66,904 - $73,309 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Full time - 2 year fixed term
The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.
The School of Culture, History and Language is a dynamic and diverse community of scholars and professional staff. Effective administration and service excellence is a vital component of the School's work in providing the highest quality education experience to its students, in supporting its academic staff, and ensuring the continuing operational excellence of the School.
The Education Support Officer – Languages will provide efficient and effective support for the teaching and learning of languages within the School and College, providing operational support services to academic/teaching staff and students. They will undertake a broad range of administrative tasks relating to education support activities of the School, and work closely with the School administration team members, the College Student Centre, the College Marketing team and with other colleagues across the College and Central University Services.
The successful candidate will have a passion for language-learning and a strong background in administrative support, particularly in academic or education administration.
