Information Technology and Client Support Officer

- Level 5 – $66,079 to $72,230 (Plus 17% Superannuation)
The Division of Information Technology (DIT) is responsible and accountable for the strategic management, development and support of information and communications technology (ICT) across the University, and the provision of related services to all students and staff of CSU.
DIT is committed to a strong service culture. It focuses on delivering ‘fit for purpose’ quality services to the University community. DIT is responsible for the execution of the Initiatives and Strategy Implementation Plan (ISIP) and works in partnership with organisational units and external providers in the delivery of projects.
The Information Technology and Client Support Officer represents the Division to clients on the Goulburn campus and is a key person in our delivery capability. Responsive client service behaviours are paramount, as well as the ability to work remotely from the core team with minimal supervision. The NSW Police Academy IT support staff delivers IT services for NSW Police which is run in tandem to CSU infrastructure.
The Information Technology Client Support Officer is required to deliver high quality IT support services to the University including the operation of the University-wide IT Service Desk support, high priority teaching and learning space support, video conference support and other duties.
You will also provide tier 2 support, maintenance and security of desktop computing, audio visual, video conferencing and network infrastructure environments for CSU. A particular focus on support of the expanded teaching and learning spaces on the Goulburn campus is the key to this role, including rapid response to technology related issues in these areas, and advice to teaching technology users.
