About You

The ideal applicant will have a positive attitude towards the health and well-being of employees and have experience of working within an Occupational Health environment. You will be a self-motivated and pro-active individual who has the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst being a team player who engages in the timely delivery of services.

This role requires effective and sensitive communications with clients, managers and other professionals and you will have strong attention to detail and an ability to work well under pressure. Excellent IT, report writing and case management skills are also essential.

About the Role

As a fully qualified Registered Nurse, with a Diploma in Occupational Health, you will assist in the assessment of staff health & wellbeing needs and will be our lead expert on occupational health & wellbeing in the workplace. You will contribute to the assessment of peoples physiological and/or psychological functioning and provide professional & clinical reports/ recommendations to Managers and staff and where complex cases are presented; make appropriate referrals to the OHS Physician or relevant consultant.

It is imperative that you gain a good understanding of and insight into our environment in order to make the most appropriate recommendations. From time to time you will also give telephone health related advice to managers & staff, administer annual flu immunisations and work with the team on health promotion activities.
