The appointee will be responsible to the University Librarian to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties and activities associated with the provision of quality customer services in the FNU libraries. The appointee may be required to work on a roster system (24/7) for evenings, weekends and on public holidays. Successful applicants will be required to undertake studies in Library & Information Studies while on the full time contract of 3 years.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Studies, Accounting, IT, office administration, business/Management, Economics or Science OR a Diploma in Library & Information Studies, Accounting, IT, Business/Management, office administration, Economics or Science with at least 3 years of work experience. Applicants must also have excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and communication skills. Applicants with experience in a relevant field will have an added advantage.
An attractive salary commensurate with qualifications and abilities would be negotiated with the successful applicant.
