Deputy Manager, Examinations, Graduations and Prizes Office
Classification: ANU Officer Grade 8 (Administration)
Salary package: $94,094 – $100,864 plus 17% superannuation
An opportunity exists for a dynamic individual to take a leading role in a highly skilled team that supports and delivers the administration of a broad range of activities of the University including: coursework and HDR examinations, graduations, honorary conferrals, prizes and student academic progression.
The successful applicant will possess excellent and effective oral and written communication skills, be able to demonstrate a capacity for critical analysis, possess a technical aptitude, show an ability to manage relationships/events and handle competing deadlines. A proven ability to lead a team is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of quality outcomes, be flexible and resourceful and drive improvements to systems and processes to meet the University's needs.
The Division of Student Administration contributes to the University's strategic objective to provide an excellent educational experience for its students through delivery of accessible and supportive administrative functions throughout the student lifecycle. The Division's student related support services include the management of: enrolment and progression; fee invoicing and cashiering; scholarships; examinations; prizes; graduations; timetabling; general enquiries; student card; transcripts; student communications and quality advice on ANU student related policy and rules as well as compliance with national and international regulations.
