The Royal Veterinary College has a unique heritage in the English-speaking world of over two centuries of innovation and leadership in veterinary medicine.  From campuses in London and Hertfordshire, our innovative thinking inspires world class research and a diverse portfolio of teaching in the veterinary and biological sciences.

Our Academic Registrar is pivotal in providing leadership for the delivery of student academic administration and the development and delivery of our academic programmes. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working in close collaboration with Vice-Principals, other academic and professional services staff across the College, you will manage a variety of complex functions, ensuring they provide a responsive and pro-active service to users.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level or have equivalent professional experience, have a strong track record of service delivery and highly effective communication skills.  You will need a sound level of exposure to IT including, ideally, some experience in the development and use of business IT systems.

Experience of leading and managing high-performing and delivery-focussed teams in a University environment is essential, and you will be skilled in drafting and reviewing policy and implementing new processes across a diverse operational area.

This is an exciting time for the College as we develop our plans to grow our research, teaching and clinical missions from a platform of world-class facilities.  The Academic Registrar will have an important part to play in this work and, for the right candidate, the role offers excellent opportunities for career development.

We offer a generous reward package.
