The role and your responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research Capability, the Personal Assistant (PA) is required to provide high quality administrative support to the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research Capability (Associate DVC R) including diary management, complex travel arrangements, assistance with the organisation of events and conferences and preparation of documentation. The PA has responsibility for all tasks that support the Associate DVC R's day-to-day operations.
In order to succeed in this role it will be critical for the incumbent to build and maintain strong networks within the Research and Innovation Portfolio and across the University, as well as with external organisations.
Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will bring to the role your relevant experience in a personal or administrative support role in a large organization. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and experience in minute taking and the editing of presentations and reports will be essential to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and your proven ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive matters in a diplomatic manner.
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent years of relevant experience is required.
