The Program Leader is responsible for the successful implementation of change initiatives in the UNSW Business School. These changes are designed to improve the way we work in support of academics and students by implementing a series of reforms and adoption of best practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the portfolio of change projects and ensuring that the implementation of initiatives meet business, schedule and budget objectives.  

Key duties include:

  • Ensuring initiatives are appropriately prioritised and phased to enable successful implementation
  • Applying change management processes and tools to support adoption of the changes
  • Developing and or supporting the design, development and delivery of process focused change initiatives
  • Managing resources (including two Business Process Analysts and many informal working groups) to ensure successful adoption
  •  Seeking Steering Committee and/or line endorsement for the portfolio of activities and the master plan
  • Coordinating activities with key stakeholders in Schools and across professional support functions

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination or education, training and/or experience
  • Project and change leadership experience including demonstrated ability to develop a change brief, scope projects, and deliver outcomes
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A client focused work ethic with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
