The Opportunity

The Department of Physiotherapy aims to advance health and wellness through best practice in education and research in an environment that is progressive and supportive for educators and students. The department is seeking to appoint a Lecturer who will make significant contributions to the teaching and research effort of the University within the area of paediatric physiotherapy.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating units and teaching into the Masters of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice. You will also contribute to paediatric content embedded within the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours). You will be expected to support the department through the overall management of the Masters of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice course, individual units within this course, and an overseeing role regarding paediatric content within the undergraduate Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours) degree.

To be considered, you will have advanced qualifications in physiotherapy and have demonstrated academic knowledge and clinical skills in paediatric physiotherapy practice.

You may also assist with the development of a research agenda in collaboration with other staff within, and outside, the department. This research agenda will advance paediatric physiotherapy practice at the graduate level and also underpin the associated education programs.

If you feel that you have the skills and experience to make this role a success your application is encouraged.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to "How to apply for Monash Jobs"
