The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences seeks applicants for a position at the tenure-track level in Biomedical Imaging Science, with an expected start date of July 1, 2017.
All areas of imaging and image processing will be considered, including but not limited to unconventional sensing methods for high resolution/high throughput imaging, the creation and analysis of algorithms for computational imaging and image processing, and concrete applications on multiple scales; e.g. super resolution microscopy, compressive sensing etc. Research that has proven or potential clinical applications are of particular interest.
Candidates are required to have a doctorate or terminal degree in areas that include mathematical, statistical and computational methods for extracting, processing and interpreting images, and allied fields in biomedical engineering by the expected start date.
We seek someone who in addition to developing a research program, would contribute to teaching and curriculum development in Applied Mathematics at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
