The Dean is the chief academic officer of the Faculty, and a member of the University’s academic leadership team. Reporting to the Provost, he/she is accountable for the Faculty’s strategic vision and administrative oversight, for ensuring the academic quality and integrity of its programs and operations, and for enhancing its research profile.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an exemplary scholar (with a graduate degree at the Masters or PhD level, appointable at the rank of full professor) who will bring a background of teaching, research and professional experience consistent with the expectations of dean at a world-class research university. He/she will have an outstanding record of successful and strategic senior leadership in a complex institution, experience in fundraising, as well as sound fiscal management abilities.

The salary range for Dean, Faculty of Law is $175,000 to $300,000 plus benefits. Final compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
