Reporting to the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, the newly-created role of Director of Marketing and Communications will lead the establishment of the Directorate and take responsibility for marketing, communications, UK Recruitment and Partnerships, Oxford Brookes International and External Relations.

The focus of this new Directorate is to ensure that marketing and communication activities are fully integrated to maximum effect, reinforcing the University’s brand, reputation and strengths.  We are looking to appoint a Director to help position Oxford Brookes as a global, impactful institution which is demonstrably one of the most successful and ambitious of the UK’s modern universities.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of developing strategic and tactical marketing and communications plans in higher education or a related sector.  As a senior leader forming a new directorate, you must bring excellent people and budget management credentials combined with a creative side that will help define our market proposition. Importantly, candidates must be able to evidence that they are committed to the values and ethos of a leading modern university.
