The Director of Student Services will make a major contribution to the College’s positioning as a world-leading education and research institution.

Reporting to the Vice-Provost (Education), the Director will hold an important, strategic leadership post. Working in close collaboration and conjunction with other service heads, the Director will lead his or her team in the delivery of outstanding support to students and will be crucial to the continuing development of a comprehensive range of responsive and valued student services across the College.

Imperial has created this new post to build upon the successful services that already exist and, in order to strengthen consistency and integration, the Director will introduce appropriate change and innovation. In addition to the enhancement of service provision, an overarching responsibility will be to ensure that two-way communication with students and their representatives is effective and that students play a major part in shaping their experience. 
The Director of Student Services will have significant experience of leading and managing student services within a complex institution and will have gained a demonstrable track record of introducing change and enhancing provision. Collaborative in approach and style, and committed to service quality, applicants must be at the forefront of knowledge of national and international developments in student services.
