The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.
The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Product Experience Manager is responsible for facilitating, generating and executing great user experiences for RMIT clients and their end users. Acting as a coach, mentor and lead for both internal teams as well as an advocate for clients' needs, this role crafts and delivers solutions in human-centred design, interaction design and design research. As the Product Experience Manager, you will establish and manage a suite of products and services as an end-to-end process, which align with RMIT's strategy as well as develop stakeholder engagement and drive positive change to learning products and services. Furthermore, this role will also drive the development and implementation of key product initiatives that inspire stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
With substantial experience in a product management capacity (preferably educational) in an online/digital environment including experience prioritising product features and creating product roadmaps, you will provide leadership in the use of the learning environment. In line with RMIT's Strategic plan, Ready for Life and Work, you will design, develop and deliver on a capacity building program for the uptake and use of the learning environment in learning and teaching for RMIT's educators and students. Your demonstrated experience in quality standards in learning environments and the ability to manage relationships and consult with stakeholders on its design, implementation and management as a process of user experience will be important to your success in this role. Furthermore, you will advise RMIT Studios on trends and developments in the design and development of the learning ecosystem.
