You will be responsible for leading, encouraging, facilitating, and supporting the embedment of the university’s current Learning and Teaching Strategy across the Faculty portfolio of programmes. As a strategic thinker, you will be able to demonstrate how you use contemporary evidence, insight and intelligence to act to support and develop the vision and future success of our students and staff through the learning and teaching developments in the Faculty and across the University.
You will be experienced in a wide range of learning and teaching approaches used within disciplines specific to the Faculty, with a record of projects and publications that made a direct contribution to the development of pedagogy. You will be able to demonstrate excellence and innovation in learning, teaching and assessment and to be able to work collaboratively to create effective partnerships with academic team to support emerging curricula changes. As a member of the Faculty Executive and Leadership Group, you will oversee those areas specific to the LTA agenda, and bring your experience to contribute to the strategic, academic and operational leadership of the Faculty in relation to learning, teaching and assessment. You will work across the university with colleagues to support the wider institutional learning and teaching agenda.
