This post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and able research associate / senior research associate to join a multidisciplinary team in the Centre for Academic Primary Care within the School of Social and Community Medicine (Faculty of Health Sciences). The post would be ideal for a researcher with experience working in trials and quantitative expertise. The REPROVIDE project which commenced in February 2016 is led by Professor Gene Feder and funded by an NIHR programme grant. It aims to improve how healthcare professionals respond to adult patients who experience or perpetrate domestic violence and to their children. Two randomised controlled trials will test the effectiveness of a training and referral program to general practice staff about women, men and children affected by domestic violence (workstream I); and the effectiveness of a group (prevention) programme for men perpetrating domestic violence (workstream II).
