Unique opportunity to drive the development agenda for one of the world’s leading Universities
The Institute for Global Development aims to improve the social, health and economic wellbeing of disadvantaged communities in line with UNSW’s global commitment to building more equitable and just societies. The Director of the Institute will work to make a difference through engagement with service providers, governments, institutions and communities to identify areas where the University can provide the greatest impact in Australia and internationally.
With experience working with the development sector and a sophisticated understanding of development and capacity building, the Director will pursue external engagement and funding opportunities for the Institute, and will bring an ability to lead and inspire collaboration across a broad range of academic disciplines to connect the University research community with the Institute and the broader development agenda.
