The School of Art, Architecture and Design is the oldest and most well-established school of its kind in South Australia. We are seeking to appoint a Professor of Urban and Regional Planning to grow and lead the research and teaching and undertake cross-disciplinary research in the areas of architecture, engineering, sustainable design and natural and built environments, to strengthen and broaden our already recognised urban and regional planning program. As South Australia’s only undergraduate planning degree recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), we provide students with a vast graduate and industry network and the industry-specific skills and knowledge sought by employers.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD qualifications in a relevant discipline, a distinguished achievement in research, excellence in teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, and behaviours which encourage professionalism, innovation and excellence.
