Sector Initiatives Administrator

The Sector Initiatives Administrator is a dynamic position providing support and engagement to advance and administer programs aligned with the areas of Health Sector Management, Public and Nonprofit Management, and Energy and Environmental Sustainability. Collaborate with faculty, students, and staff across Questrom, to assist in daily administrative activities including scheduling, communications, events, purchasing, and budgeting/reconciliation. Work closely with faculty, staff, students and clubs to enhance program community. This includes event planning, meeting with student leadership, developing communication and outreach initiatives, engaging program alumni, and developing and leading program activities for fellowship programs. The Sector Initiatives Administrator also typically supervises student employees each semester working on strategic program initiatives.
B.S./B.A. required, Masters Degree preferred, demonstrated ability to independently organize, prioritize, and multitask detailed work in a busy work environment, excellent communication skills, including the ability to deal with a diverse group of individuals (faculty, staff, alumni and students), expertise with MS Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), salesforce or database management experience, attention to detail and a flexible approach to the working environment. One to three years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting and bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
