Education Evaluation Manager

The Education Evaluation Manager plans and implements all phases of educational evaluation at BUSPH for all degree programs, including designing, implementing, and revising the evaluation plan; designing implementing, and revising the appropriate data collection tools; developing, implementing, and revising both quantitative and qualitative data collection plans; overseeing data analysis; and, developing a dissemination plan including reporting findings back to key stakeholders within BUSPH and BU and external to BU. Together with the Director of Graduate Programs and the Chair of the Education Evaluation Subcommittee, this position implements and improves upon the Schools data systems and manages external review processes, including accreditation and academic program review. This position assists the Associate Dean of Education and Director of Graduate Programs to manage and continuously improve the Schools degree programs to ensure that they remain competitive in an increasingly complex public health education environment. Characteristic Duties: Manage SPH Education Evaluation plan, including developing, updating and maintaining evaluation tools, providing direct support to academic programs through implementation of the plan, development of a competency map for all degree programs, creating a system for tracking evaluation outcomes, analyzing student data, and assisting in monitoring quality improvement efforts. (30%) Oversee course evaluation process for all SPH classes (250 classes organized into 12 clusters annually); review course evaluation comments and data trends, provide evaluation data (quantitative and qualitative) as needed within and outside of BUSPH. Work with faculty groups to revise course evaluation, as necessary. Support external program reviews, including Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation and BU Academic Program Review. Revise systems to meet new criteria, draft and edit reports, coordinate resource files, and other projects as assigned. Assist in market analyses to ensure SPH is positioned well within the field of public health education Provide administrative and logistical support to the Director of Graduate Programs in activities related to the school-wide Education Committee, core leads, certificate directors, associate chairs and other stakeholder groups.

3-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in program and/or educational evaluation, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of working effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, to prioritize projects to accomplish goals, and work as part of a team.
