In this role

This new professorial position reflects the ambition of La Trobe University to further build on its achievements in conducting high impact and innovative research in ecology. You will be responsible for developing and mentoring a team that delivers excellence in ecological research. You will also be expected to undertake teaching appropriate to the role.

Skills and Experience

To be considered you will have an outstanding research record in ecology and extensive networks with a range of researchers, industry, and land and conservation management agencies. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in securing external funding as well as fostering collaborative research partnerships are essential. This is an exciting opportunity for an established and/or aspiring research leader with ambition for accelerated research funding growth to grow and shape a team in a novel, innovative and dynamic research environment.
