This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in the School of Computing and Mathematics, which is based in Keele University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences. 

Applications are welcomed from dynamic and enthusiastic individuals committed to high quality research in the field of distributed systems and big data, and who have interests that complement our existing research strengths in this area, while broadening the scope of our teaching expertise. 

This post is part of continued growth and expansion of computing at Keele, which presents many new opportunities for the development of synergies in both teaching and research. Candidates will be expected to develop an active research programme that both complements and extends our existing research profile in Computing. You will have a PhD in an appropriate area of Computing (or be very close to completion of his/her PhD) and will have a strong commitment to delivering high quality undergraduate teaching, including supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. You will have the skills, enthusiasm and flexibility for teaching across a wide range of computing topics.

Appointment at Grade 8 may be made in exceptional circumstances and will require significant extra experience in all areas. Applications are encouraged from candidates across the full range.
