Applicants are invited for a temporary 3 year appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Professor, Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC).

Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) and University College Dublin (UCD) have agreed to work towards the establishment of a new world-class institution of higher education. The Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC) is a recognised College of BJUT and UCD, offering a range of dual degrees including a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). 

The School of Economics is providing modules for this programme and is now recruiting lecturers to deliver modules in the fields of macroeconomics, econometrics and financial economics.  The post-holder will undertake teaching duties in BDIC on the above programmes. In addition, the post-holder may be asked to lecture at UCD and will be expected to support and develop the School’s research activities.

Lecturer/Assistant Professor (below the bar) Salary Scale: €31,820 - €56,602 per annum  (Or)

Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale:  €50,807 - €76,936 per annum

Appointment on the appropriate scale, and point on scale in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
